The Committee on Social Policy and Protection of Veterans' Rights recommends adopting the draft law on limit the maximum salary of certain categories of persons during an emergency

At the sitting of the Committee, the MPs considered the draft Law “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning the Limitation of the Maximum Salary (Remuneration) of Certain Categories of Persons During an Emergency Situation in Ukraine” (No. 3492).

The bill proposes to introduce restrictions on the maximum monthly salary of managers and employees of economic entities of the public sector, civil servants, officials and employees of institutions and organizations funded or subsidized from the budget - no more than twelve minimum wages during an emergency situation in Ukraine.

Following the consideration of the draft law, the Committee decided to recommend to the Verkhovna Rada to adopt it as a basis.

The MPs also decided to form the working group to finalize the draft Law of Ukraine "On the Status and Social Protection of Citizens Affected by the Chornobyl Accident" to increase the level of pensions for certain categories of persons.
