On April 29, the members of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation, headed by Chairperson of the Committee O. Merezhko, met with Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament of Estonia M. Mihkelson, Chairmperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Seimas of Latvia R. Kols, and Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Seimas of Lithuania Z. Pavilionis.

The participants of the meeting discussed the issues of strengthening the bilateral political dialogue, ways to strengthen Ukraine's integration into the EU and NATO and carrying out reforms in Ukraine.
Special attention was paid to the security situation in eastern Ukraine, as well as in the Black and Azov Seas, human rights violations in the temporarily occupied territories, the negotiation process within the Tripartite Contact Group and the prospects of negotiations in the Normandy format.
The Chairperson of the Committee O. Merezhko thanked foreign colleagues for their constant support for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine and the strategic course for integration into the EU and NATO.
