Adopted the Law of Ukraine No. 2194 “On Amending the Land Code of Ukraine and Other Legislative Acts to Improve the Management and Deregulation System in the Sphere of Land Relations”.
The purpose and main task of the law is to reform the management system in the field of land relations and remove artificial restrictions on economic activity to facilitate access to land resources of the population and business, cancellation of unnecessary permits and duplication of procedures for verification of land management documentation; introduction of independent control of land management documentation through public examination or review; providing information on land management documentation of the status of public, open and publicly available data; integration and unification of land management, topographic, geodetic and cartographic activities; introduction of professional liability insurance for land management contractors as an alternative to state control; reducing the cost of work and the length of time spent on procedures related to land management; reducing the risks of bribery and corruption.
