Adopted as a basis the Draft Law “On Amending Certain Laws of Ukraine Concerning the Provision of Privileges to Certain Categories of Citizens of Ukraine Applying for Consular Actions”

Adopted as a basis the Draft Law No. 4539 “On Amending Certain Laws of Ukraine Concerning the Provision of Privileges to Certain Categories of Citizens of Ukraine Applying for Consular Actions”.

The bill proposes to provide benefits for the payment of consular fees to certain categories of citizens of Ukraine. In particular, victims of the Chornobyl disaster, persons with disabilities of groups I and II and children with disabilities. According to the Committee, the document is in line with the objectives of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Standard Rules on the Equalization of Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities.
