Adopted the Resolution on the Statement of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Concerning the Escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian Armed Conflict

Adopted the Resolution No. 5312 on the Statement of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Concerning the Escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian Armed Conflict. In the Statement, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine calls on the world community, parliaments of foreign states and international parliamentary organizations to condemn the aggressive policy of the Russian Federation towards Ukraine, to continue and intensify international political and economic pressure on the Russian Federation in order to stop aggression, withdraw foreign troops and armaments from the territory of Ukraine, until the full restoration of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders, take all possible measures to investigate cases of serious violations of international law during the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, including the commission by the armed forces of the Russian Federation of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is instructed to ensure the immediate forwarding of the text of the Statement to the national governments and parliaments of foreign states, international organizations and their parliamentary assemblies.
