During the meeting, the Committee on Law Enforcement considered the draft law No. 5156 on stimulate the de-shadowing of incomes and increase the tax culture of citizens by introducing voluntary declaration and payment of a one-time fee to the budget.
The draft law was presented by representative of the Office of the Present of Ukraine Olha Dyachenko. She noted that the purpose of the bill is to "ensure the desired result of a one-time (special) voluntary declaration of assets", provided for by amendments to the Tax Code to stimulate the de-shadowing of incomes and increase the tax culture of citizens through the introduction of voluntary declaration of assets and payment of a one-time fee to the budget. The draft law proposes to amend the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code.
Based on the results of the discussion, the Committee on Law Enforcement recommends the adoption as a basis the draft law No. 5156 on stimulate the de-shadowing of incomes and increase the tax culture of citizens by introducing voluntary declaration and payment of a one-time fee to the budget.
