The Committee on Law Enforcement recommends to adopt as a basis and in general the draft Resolution on the condemnation of the events that took place on March 20, 2021 near the Office of the President of Ukraine

During the sitting, the Committee members considered the draft Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine “On Condemnation of the Events Held on March 20, 2021 near the Office of the President of Ukraine” No. 5295.

The draft law was presented by MP Oleksandr Bakumov. He read the text of the draft Resolution and noted that the authors, "condemning any attempts to replace civilized dissent with the actions of the authorities with violence and abuse of state symbols," believe that the protesters' actions were aimed at "undermining statehood" and Parliament should respond to events that took place on March 20, 2021 near the Office of the President of Ukraine.

The Committee on Law Enforcement recommends to adopt as a basis and in general the draft Resolution on the condemnation of the events that took place on March 20, 2021 near the Office of the President of Ukraine, taking into account the proposal of the Committee.
