Adopted as a basis the Draft Law “On Amending the Law of Ukraine ‘On Preschool Education’ to Ensure Territorial Accessibility of Preschool Education”

The Draft Law No. 4604 “On Amending the Law of Ukraine ‘On Preschool Education’ to Ensure Territorial Accessibility of Preschool Education” supplements the Law of Ukraine “On Preschool Education” with provisions on ensuring territorial accessibility of preschool education.

The Draft Law entrenches the right of each child to obtain preschool education in the preschool education institution which is most accessible and closest to the place of the child’s residence; and determines the order of admission of children to preschool education institutions (first priority admission for children whose residence in the territory covered by the preschool education institution is confirmed as well as for children who are blood or foster siblings of children being educated at that preschool education institution and children of employees of that preschool education institution; second priority admission for children not living in the territory covered by that preschool education institute.
