Address on the occasion of the Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes

Today marks seven years since the most tragic events of the Revolution of Dignity. On this day in 2014, most Euromaidan protesters were killed during the confrontations. Among the dead were people of different ages and spheres of activity. They came to the protests for various reasons. However, they were united by one thing - the desire for Ukraine to be a democratic state, where the principles of human rights and freedoms are respected. For defending these ideals, our country had to pay a high price, the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred gave the most valuable thing - their lives.

We cannot return them to their relatives. However, we must remember and honor their courage, strength of spirit, and sacrifice.

Eternal Glory to the Heroes!
