Adopted as a basis the Draft Law “On the Fund forPartial Credit Guarantee in Agriculture”

The purpose of theDraft Law No. 3205-2 “On the Fund for Partial Credit Guarantee in Agriculture” isto support small and medium-sized businesses, including farms.The Fund for PartialCredit Guarantee in Agriculture as a specialized non-banking financialinstitution created by the Government, the Fund provides credit support andguarantees the repayment of loans to small and medium-sized farms andagricultural enterprises cultivating up to 500 hectares of land.The draft lawdefines the key issues of the Fund's activity, in particular:- the procedurefor forming the authorized capital of the Fund, the conditions for its increaseand decrease;- the procedurefor convening, competence and the procedure for making decisions by thegoverning bodies of the Fund;- the procedurefor determining the criteria for business entities that have the right to apartial guarantee of fulfillment of obligations under loan agreements.
