Adopted as a basis the Draft Law “On Amending Article 42 Of the Law of Ukraine ‘On Higher Education’ to Improve the Procedure of Election of the Director of an Institute of Higher Education”

The draft law proposes to amend the third part of Article 42 of the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education”, which regulates the Procedure of Election of the Director of an Institute of Higher Education.

The Draft Law No. 4489-1 “On Amending Article 42 Of the Law of Ukraine ‘On Higher Education’ to Improve the Procedure of Election of the Director of an Institute of Higher Education” proposes regulating the holding of the second round and the repeat election in case the winner fails to pass the special audit procedure or if no candidate receives the necessary number of votes in the second round. The bill provides for concluding the contract with the person receiving more than 50% of the votes of the voters who took part in the voting.
