During the visit to Germany, Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov met with Chairperson of the Christian Social Union faction in the Bundestag Alexander Dobrindt

The parties discussed a number of important issues, including strengthening cooperation with Bavaria, one of Germany's most powerful economic regions. Dmytro Razumkov said that Ukraine is ready to further deepen trade ties and is also interested in increasing Bavarian investment. According to the Chairperson of the Ukrainian Parliament, Bavaria is one of the largest trade partners of Ukraine in terms of export-import operations with a volume of almost 900 million euros last year.

Dmytro Razumkov thanked Alexander Dobrindt and the Christian Social Union faction in the Bundestag for supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. He also expressed gratitude for Germany's crucial mediation efforts in the ‘Normandy format’ in order to achieve the long-awaited peace in Donbas.

Alexander Dobrindt accepted the invitation of the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada to visit Ukraine and assured that the CSU supports the implementation of reforms in our country and Ukraine's European integration aspirations.
