At its meeting, the Committee supported the proposal of the All-Ukrainian NGO ‘Civic Network’ OPORA to institutionalize the partnership and become a beneficiary of a new stage of the project “Local Monitoring of Political Processes in Ukraine.”
The All-Ukrainian NGO ‘Civic Network’ OPORA implements the project with the support of the United States Agency for International Development.
Expected that the new stage of the project “Local Monitoring of Political Processes in Ukraine” will focus on achieving 3 goals:
- increasing the level of fairness and integrity in the conduct of elections in Ukraine through local monitoring;
- increase transparency and involve the general public in the development and implementation of legislation governing political processes in better compliance with European standards;
- improving the organizational and technical potential of the All-Ukrainian NGO ‘Civic Network’ OPORA
