“The Verkhovna Rada must agree on key aspects of the strategy for restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine,” Olena Kondratiuk

Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olena Kondratyuk is convinced that the Ukrainian Parliament should take an active part in shaping the strategy of peace negotiations and restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine. She stressed this during the Conciliation Council. “Parliament must not only know and understand, but also agree on key aspects of our strategy to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine, by returning Donbas and Crimea,” she noted.

According to Olena Kondratiuk, the Parliament, the Cabinet of Ministers and the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine should receive full information on the activities of the Tripartite Contact Group and the Normandy Negotiation Process.

The Deputy Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also supported the initiative of Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov on the need to hear the relevant explanations of Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksii Reznikov during the “Hour of Questions to the Government”.
