350 parliamentarians have registered to partake in this sitting.

The additional extraordinary sitting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the IX convocation.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov opened the second special sitting of the Parliament.

The presiding officer notified the parliamentary chamber that the event was convened on demand of the President of Ukraine.

MPs then proceeded to the business of the day.

Bills, legislations and resolutions passed

On severer responsibility for road-safety-related traffic offences: Draft bill No.2695

The bill “On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine concerning harsher liability for certain traffic-safety offences” was backed by 282 members of parliament on the first reading.

The presiding officer closed the sitting.
