Bill No.3695. The committee saw into the bill “On amendments to some acts of law as to ensuring equal opportunities for mother and father in attending to a child”. The bill is aimed at:
- ensuring equal opportunities for mother and father to take care of a child and combine work with family responsibilities;
- eliminating legislative gaps that limit a husband's right to childcare leave;
- creating preconditions for strengthening the father’s role in child rearing and developing responsible parenthood in Ukraine.
The committee’s counsel to the line committee is recommending that the parliament take the bill on the first reading.
Bill No.3603. The body examined the bill “On amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine as to protecting child rights and interests in case of parental detainment or incarceration” and advised the line committee to recommend that the parliament take the bill on the first reading.

At its recent sitting, the committee scrutinized a variety of draft legislations through the lens of their EU law and AA (Association Agreement) compliance.
As EU law-AA compliant, there were recognized the following bills:Bill No.3594 “On amendments to some laws of Ukraine as to protecting the rights of orphan children and children deprived of parental care who experience disability”.
Bill No.3501 “On amendments to some laws of Ukraine to ameliorate economic activity legislation”.
Bill No.3497 “On amendments to the Economic Code of Ukraine to remove conflicts of laws over statutory requirements to limited and superadded liability partnerships”.
Bill No.3287 “On amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine due to the adoption of the Law of Ukraine ‘On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding a simplified pre-trial investigation procedure for certain categories of criminal offences”.
Bill No.3287-1 (as alternate to the preceding bill) “On amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine and some laws of Ukraine aimed to resolve terminological ambiguities”.
Bill No.3357 “On amendments to the Law of Ukraine on fundamental principles of exercising state financial control in Ukraine”.
Bill No.3716 “On amendments to the Air Code of Ukraine to improve legislation on unmanned aircrafts of the civil aviation”.
Bill No.3055 “On amendments to some laws of Ukraine regarding the implementation of the Council of Europe Convention on Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse (the Lanzarote Convention)”.
