The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov opened Wednesday’s plenary session.

Dmytro Razumkov gave the floor to his deputy Olena Kondratiuk, who then drew attention of the audience to “the surge of disrespect, discrimination, humiliation, sexism, hate speech" that have been observed recently. She called for “respect to institutions and opponents, as well as to women, the weak, the young, the elderly, the experienced, and the poor. This respect is to become a firm footing for the new culture – the culture of societal convergence”.
The Chairman gave the floor to representatives of the parliamentary factions and groups to make their announcements, statements, and proposals.
MPs Yuliia Tymoshenko, Mykola Kniazhytskyi, Arsenii Pushkarenko spoke on behalf of two parliamentary factions.
Parliamentarians then proceeded to the business of the day.

On gambling: Draft bill No.2285-d
The bill “On state regulation of activities in the organization and conduct of gambling” is under consideration at the moment. The work on the amendments will be resumed at the next meeting.
