The ongoing sitting of the Verkhovna Rada is attended by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and members of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Conciliation Commission’s sitting decided on Monday that the ministers would report today on the organization and conduct of the 2020 external independent evaluation in Ukraine and the use of budgetary funds for measures taken to combat the spread of coronavirus disease in Ukraine.

The presiding officer gave the floor to the finance minister Serhii Marchenko, who delivered his report on the use of state budget funds towards the anti-virus battle in Ukraine.
The acting education minister Liubomyra Mandzii reported on the organization and conduct of the external independent evaluation in Ukraine in 2020.
Members of the Government answered questions from parliamentary factions and groups. The Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal responded to questions from the floor.

On appointment of Roman Abramovskyi as Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine: Draft resolution No.3586
The premier moved for appointment of the R.Abramovskyi as the ecology minister. The incoming minister presented his action plan and answered MPs’ questions. 264 ayes approved this appointment. The new minister took the oath of office as a member of the Cabinet of Ministers.
On changes to agenda: Draft bills Nos.3658, 3657
The bill No.3658 “On amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning enhanced support for the electricity production from alternative energy sources” and the bill No.3657 “On amendments to the Law of Ukraine ‘On the electricity market’” were included in the ongoing session’s agenda.
On treatment of coronavirus disease: Draft bill No.3636
The bill “On amendments to Section II ‘Final Provisions’ of the Law of Ukraine ‘On amendments to certain acts of legislation of Ukraine as to ensuring the treatment of coronavirus disease (COVID-19)’ (regarding its extension for higher COVID-19 morbidity risks to population)” was supported on the first reading by 309 ayes and on the second - by 311.
On new financial instruments: Draft bill No.2284
The bill “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding a simpler raising of investments and introducing new financial instruments” was adopted on the second reading by 285 assenting votes.

The presiding officer announced MP S.Vakarchuk’s resignation from the parliamentary faction PP “Holos”; MPs Larysa Bilozir, Hennadii Vatsak and Mykola Kuchera – from the parliamentary group “For the Future” and their joining the parliamentary group “Dovira”.
