Congratulations of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov on Europe Day
Ukraine is an integral part of Europe, because it is on the territory of our country that its geographical center is located, and European values have long been close and clear to Ukrainians.
Today, our state is going the extra mile to ensure that our geopolitical course leads Ukraine to its goal of EU membership.
However, we are united not only by values and goals, but also by history. A shared past and overcoming arduous challenges have both created a union of European states based on the principles of parliamentary democracy and the rule of law, supporting the economic and political stability of Europe.
Nonetheless, Europe does not start with politics, but with every citizen. With respect for the law and the rights of others, tolerance, equality and freedom.
Through remaining human and responsible citizens, we little by little, step by step are approaching EU integration. And I am convinced that Ukraine will be able to achieve this goal!
