Pursuant to the Constitution of Ukraine, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada D.Razumkov has signed today three bills of great moment adopted at the 30 March extraordinary sitting of the parliament, viz - Nos.3268, 3254, and 3277.
- The Law of Ukraine (bill No.3268) “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the provision of treatment of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19)”.
The statute in fact unbans a Ukraine-wide use of locally unregistered anti-coronavirus drugs provided that their potency has been proved in developed countries and they have been recommended by an official authority of the United States of America, EU countries, Great Britain, Switzerland, Japan, Australia, Canada, China, or Israel.
- The Law of Ukraine (bill No.3254) “On amendments to the Law of Ukraine ‘On the state budget of Ukraine for 2020’ regarding an uninterrupted provision of food to servicemen”.
The paper entitles both defence and interior ministries to extend their food provision contracts (for servicemen) until 2020’s end without repeating purchases.
- The Law of Ukraine (bill No.3277) “On amendments to the Law of Ukraine ‘On committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine’”.
The law will enable VRU committees to resort to videoconferencing while having their sittings during the nationwide quarantine.
These three laws have already been submitted up to the President of Ukraine for further signature.
