A regular sitting of the Parliamentary Assembly of Ukraine and the Republic of Poland has been postponed.
Due to the further spread of the dangerous Covid-19 coronavirus, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the National Assembly of the Republic of Poland mutually decided to put off the meeting of the Ukraine-Poland Parliamentary Assembly, which was scheduled for March 23-25, 2020.
This decision was agreed upon the consultations between the Assembly’s co-chairs – the vice speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olena Kondratiuk and the Deputy Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Richard Terletsky. The co-chairs took note of the recommendations of their national parliaments and governments.
The parties also agreed to re-determine the new date at a later time.
