Speaker talks MPs out of going abroad

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov has issued today an administrative decree on immediate measures to be taken by the VRU Secretariat to secure sustained functioning of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine together with its bodies, considering the coronavirus outbreak.

The paper is made in accordance with Article 88 of Ukraine’s constitution and items 7, 8 of Article 78 of the Verkhovna Rada’s rules of procedure.

The decree urges MPs either to put off or even cancel their overseas official assignments unless instructed otherwise.
