The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov opened Friday’s plenary session.

The Chairman gave the floor to representatives of parliamentary factions and groups to make their announcements, statements, and proposals.
He then announced that members of the Cabinet of Ministers, headed by the Prime Minister Oleksii Honcharuk, are taking part in the plenary session.
After that, the premier reported on the progress and results of the implementation of the Government’s Action Programme in 2019 and outlined government's plans for the current year. The prime minister thanked MPs for the good cooperation and expressed his full readiness for such work in the future. The official then fielded parliamentarians’ questions from the floor.
Representatives of parliamentary factions and groups took part in the discussion over the Cabinet’s report.
The Deputy Minister of Health Dmytro Koval reported on the measures taken by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to prevent the introduction and spread of the new coronavirus in Ukraine.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk announced the establishment of two inter-factional parliamentary associations: “Control over Reforms and Cleansing in Judicial and Law Enforcement Systems of Ukraine”, to be headed by MP Serhii Velmozhnyi, and “Development of Energy and Transport Infrastructures as Strategic Vector of Efficient State Economy”, to be headed by MP Oleksandr Sukhov.

the floor to MP Akhtem Chyihoz,
who
then
informed
the audience about violations
of the rights of the Crimean Tatar people in the occupied Crimea. He
noted that despite the Crimean Tatars are under particular
pressure of the invaders there, they do continue
struggling and fighting by peaceful means.
After the speeches, MPs proceeded with the business of the day.

The bill “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding circulation of agricultural lands” is still under consideration at the moment. MPs have worked through 1506 amendments out of 4018 submitted. The work on amendments to the bill is to be resumed at the next plenary sittings.
