With the EU Parliament’s assistance, there has been held the 7th round of the inter-factional Jean Monnet Dialogue
Under the leadership of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov, the Ukrainian delegation conducted a regular meeting in the format of Jean Monnet Dialogue (JMD). That meeting confirmed Ukrainian MPs’ yearning desire for further implementation of the institutional reform of Ukraine’s parliament.
The VRU Chairman underlined there had been agreed to refresh the memorandum of understanding signed between the parties earlier. The conferees also decided to soon reshape the existing format of the “Ask the Government” hour.
The parties then came to a decision to launch at the VRU a specialized JMD task force to promote and facilitate political arrangements made at JMD meetings. The first objective of the upcoming t.force will be coordination of parliamentary factions and groups in terms of analyzing the implementation of VRU-reforming recommendations.
