The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov opened Wednesday’s plenary session.

 

The morning section

 

The Chairman gave the floor to representatives of the parliamentary factions and groups to make their announcements, statements, reports and proposals.

After the speeches, the Verkhovna Rada carried the agenda of the current meeting.

 

The current agenda:

 

  • Second reading

1.     Bill No.2045-1 “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding granting the status and social guarantees for individuals from among participators of the anti-terrorist operation”.

2.     Bill No.2233 “On amendments to the Law of Ukraine ‘On the electricity market’”.

3.     Bill No.0858 “On amendments to the Land Code of Ukraine and some other legislative acts on combating corporate raiding”.

 

  • First reading

4.     Bill No.2457 “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine that regulate the sphere of grafting anatomic material in humans”.

5.     Bill No.2428 “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding immediate measures in the sphere of health care”.

6.     Two bills on amendments to the Bankruptcy Code of Ukraine.

7.     Bill No.2288 “On amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine regarding stopgap application of Articles 470 and 481”.

8.     Bill No.2358 “On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine due to improving the financial restructuring procedure and taxation of financial leasing transactions”.

9.     Bill No.1067-d “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding faster de-regulation of business operations”.

10. Parliamentary hearings themed “Land Reform: Domestic Model of Farmlands Circulation” are slated for 3 pm.

  • Laws, bills and resolutions passed

 

On social guarantees to ATO participants

--Draft bill No.2045-1

By 329 assenting votes, the parliament have passed on the second reading the bill No.2045-1 “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding granting the status and social guarantees for individuals from among participators of the anti-terrorist operation”.

 

On electricity market

--Draft bill No.2233

MPs have considered the bill No.2233 “On amendments to the Law of Ukraine ‘On the electricity market’”. It was then confirmed on the second reading by 274 ayes.

 

On human organ transplantation

--Draft bill No.2457

Lawmakers have seen into the bill No.2457 “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine that regulate the sphere of grafting anatomic material in humans”. They supported the bill by 326 ayes on the first reading.


On urgent measures in health care area

--Draft bill No.2428

MPs have reviewed the bill No.2428 “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding immediate measures in the sphere of health care”. On the first reading the bill was taken by 295 ayes.

 

Changes in taxation procedures

--Draft bill No.2358

The parliament passed the first reading of the bill No.2358 “On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine due to improving the financial restructuring procedure and taxation of financial leasing transactions”. 320 assenting votes were given for the bill.

 

On changes in bankruptcy procedure

--Draft bills Nos. 2276 and 2290

Both bankruptcy bills were backed on the first reading by 295 and 276 votes in favour accordingly.

 

On faster deregulation in business

--Draft bill No.1067-d

Lawgivers have seen into the bill No.1067-d “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding faster de-regulation of business operations”.  The first reading of the bill was supported by 229 ayes.
