Address of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov on the occasion of the Holodomors Victims Remembrance Day
Dear Ukrainians!
Today, we commemorate the memory of the millions of Ukrainians who died in the famines of 1921-1923, 1932-1933 and 1946-1947. The greatest tragedy in the history of Ukraine was the Holodomor of 1932-1933, which is now recognized as a genocide of the Ukrainian people in many countries of the world.
Human life is of the highest value, and we must remember that such crimes against humanity will never happen again in the civilized world.
Memory eternal!
