Speaker honours Holodomor victims

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov participated in a commemorative ceremony of the victims of the 1932-1933 Holodomor

During the mourning events, leaders of Ukrainian Christian churches solemnized a memorial service for the 1932-1933 Holodomor victims, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced a nation-wide moment of silence, after which the all-Ukrainian Action "Light a Candle!” began.

The ceremony was held at the National Museum “Memorial to Holodomor victims”.

The event was also attended by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksii Honcharuk, government officials, Ukrainian parliamentarians, representatives of the diplomatic corps, the Ukrainian World Congress, public figures, Kyivans and the mass media.
