MPs have considered the cost estimate of the Verkhovna Rada for 2020. Upon a thorough review, the paper was backed in tote by 272 parliamentarians.
On better use of defence lands
--Draft bill No.0855
The parliament reviewed the bill No.0855 “On amendments to Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine ‘On use of defence lands’ regarding the rise in land-use efficiency of parcels allotted”. The bill was then confirmed by 334 votes in favour.
On a better land-use dereg system
--Draft bill No.2194
Members of parliament have seen into the bill No.2194 “On amendments to the Land Code of Ukraine and other legislative acts of Ukraine regarding improving the land-use deregulation and management system”. The draft law was then approved on the first reading by 272 votes.
On selling land parcels through e-auctions
--Draft bill No.2195
Members of parliament have examined the bill No.2195 “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding selling plots of public and communal land or the rights therein (lease, superficies, emphyteusis) by means of electronic auctions”. On the first reading the bill was taken by 262 ayes.
On gas transportation
--Draft bill No.2359 (including the bill No.2359-1 as the alternate)
Ukrainian parliamentarians have seen into the bill No.2359 “On amendments to Section XX “Transitional provisions” of the Tax Code of Ukraine for securing meeting Ukraine’s obligations towards the unbundling of natural gas transportation activities under the Protocol on the Accession of Ukraine to the Energy Community Treaty and considering the relevant provisions of the Association Agreement between the European Union, its Member States, and the European Atomic Energy Community, on the one part, and Ukraine, on the other part”. By 280 ayes the bill No.2359-1 was taken on the first reading.
On separation of gas transport
Lawmakers have examined the bill No.2249 “On amendments to the Law of Ukraine ‘On public procurement’ through the separation of natural gas transportation activities”. By 260 ayes the bill was taken in tote.
