The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov opened Friday’s plenary session.
The morning section
374 parliamentarians have registered to attend the plenary meeting.
The Chairman gave the floor to representatives of the parliamentary factions and groups to make their announcements, statements, reports and proposals.
The Verkhovna Rada carried the agenda of the current meeting.
The current agenda:
- Draft resolution “On appointment of members of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine”.
- Second reading
- Bill No.1009 “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding improvement of some provisions of the criminal procedure legislation”.
- Bill No.1008 “On amendments to certain law of Ukraine regarding bodies of judicial governance”.
- Bill No.1031 “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding confiscation of illicitly acquired assets of politically exposed persons and punishment for acquiring such assets”.
- Bill No.1035-2 “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding loss of Ukrainian parliamentarians’ right to financial support through unexcused absence at plenary sessions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine or sittings of the Verkhovna Rada committees”.
- During the evening session, the Verkhovna Rada plans to consider the Cabinet’s programme of activities.
- In addition, there will be seen into two bills concerning tax administration improvements.

There was a vote upon the nominees. The newly elected CEC members have taken the oath of office before the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Dmytro Razumkov congratulated the new CEC members and expressed his confidence in a fruitful cooperation with the Verkhovna Rada in future.
On better criminal proc legislation
--Draft bill No.1009
“On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding improvement of some provisions of the criminal procedure legislation”. The bill is re-seen into on its second reading. 330 parliamentarians voted for the draft bill on the second reading.
