On September 9, there took place a regular sitting of the Conciliation Commission (Board) of parliamentary factions (parliamentary groups)

Opening the sitting, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov noted the Saturday’s long-awaited release of Ukrainian hostages from the Russian captivity.

He also observed the high efficiency of the Verkhovna Rada's work on August 29 and September 3.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada briefed about the bills prepared by the committees for consideration during the second session and expressed his hope that all political forces at the Verkhovna Rada have changed significantly and are capable now of working in the interests of the state.

D. Razumkov informed that as of September 5, 2019, there were 188 issues on the agenda of the second session of the Verkhovna Rada of the ninth convocation. Seven constitution amendment bills are planned to be considered during this session. All of them are also waiting for conclusion of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada paid special attention to the fact that the law on Ukraine’s State Budget 2020 should be considered and adopted within the ongoing session. The budget day is slated for September 17-20.

Representatives of parliamentary factions and groups spoke at the meeting as well.

Iryna Vereshchuk, a representative of the Cabinet of Ministers at the Verkhovna Rada, apprised the audience about the Government's priority tasks and bills submitted for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

D. Razumkov gave the floor to heads of the parliamentary committees.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada closed the meeting of the Conciliation Commission.
