There took place a meeting of the Conciliation Commission (Board) of the parliamentary factions (groups)

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov opened the first organizational meeting of the board.

D. Razumkov summed up the results of the first session of the Verkhovna Rada of the ninth convocation.

He also informed about the bills to have been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for consideration. Currently, there have been registered some 300 draft bills, with 67 of which - designated as urgent for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada.

There have also been tabled seven bills on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine. All of these bills are to be included in the agenda of the session and forwarded to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine for further consideration under the special procedure. In addition, there are more than 120 transitional bills.

MPs proceeded to considering the draft agenda for the second session of the Verkhovna Rada of the ninth convocation. The Chairman invited the attendees to submit their agenda proposals by Thursday, 5 September. The revised draft second session agenda will be tabled on September 9 for consideration and approval by the Conciliation Board, and on September 10 - for approval by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

On September 3, it is planned to consider the draft bill No.7203 "On removal of the parliamentary privilege from Ukrainian parliamentarians" in order to adopt it in tote as law. This law will be considered passed if more than two-thirds (300) of MPs vote for it.

Heads of six committees also spoke at the meeting.

Then, the head of the Committee on Legal Policy informed the audience about the resolutions adopted at the committee's meeting regarding the above constitution amendment draft bills.

Dmytro Razumkov closed the meeting of the Conciliation Board at this point.
