The preparatory group approved a draft resolution on media coverage of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the IX convocation. The corresponding decision was made at the today’s meeting of the Preparatory parliamentary group. The resolution will be put to the vote at the first sitting of parliament on August 29.
The document regulates the procedure of covering activities of the Verkhovna Rada by the State Enterprise "Parliamentary TV Channel "Rada”, the Verkhovna Rada’s newspaper "Holos Ukrainy” (“The Voice of Ukraine"), and structural units of the Verkhovna Rada Apparatus on the official website of the parliament.
The draft resolution is aimed at a wider informing Ukrainians and the international community about activities of the country’s supreme legislature.
