Opening the meeting, Dmytro Razumkov, the head of the Preparatory parliamentary group, announced that upon the agenda consideration, there would take place a meeting of the two sub-groups of the working group - on organizational issues and on the organization of a solemn plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The group head also informed that the issues proposed by the Verkhovna Rada Apparatus and the USAID RADA Programme were included in the agenda.
Participants of the meeting discussed the draft Preparatory group regulations and the rules of procedure of the group. The said regulations were approved unanimously. Participants of the meeting also voted on the rules of procedure of the above mentioned sub-groups.
The first sub-group will focus on specialized committees of the parliament of new convocation. It is about the number of the committees, their designations, terms of reference and personnel matters.
The second sub-group will take care of the organization of a solemn plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
In the course of sitting of the Preparatory group, there was taken into consideration the procedure of creating parliamentary factions and groups in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the IX convocation.
