Today’s agenda
The Chairman briefed on the agenda items that had been proposed for reviewing today. The list of issues to be considered at the plenary meeting on the 20th of June:
1. Bill No.3112-1 of draft Electoral Code (second reading).
Prior to the session’s start, the speaker solemnly warned those craving hotly for the revenge to come. “We have to mobilize all state oriented forces to stop the revenge! And now we will not let the old history come again. We shall not give the state away, not a step back! Ukraine will be free, strong and united! Glory to Ukraine!" he finished emotionally.
The presiding officer gave the floor to representatives of the parliamentary factions and groups to make their announcements, statements, reports, and proposals.
MPs then proceeded with reviewing the second reading of the bill No.3112-1 on draft Electoral Code. By noon they have finished 1166 amendments.
The presiding officer closed the morning session.
Evening session
The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy opened the evening session.
The parliament resumed working on the code amendments. In the course of the work, parliamentarians have rejected the entire portion of evening amendments.
