There is / body in focus of our committee scan today:

Committee on National Security and Defence

The body recommends that the Verkhovna Rada adopt the first reading of the bill No.9514 on amendments to certain laws of Ukraine on defence.

The bill defines the concept of "logistics support" (DISTRO, i.e. storage, distribution and rotation) for armed forces while performing defence tasks, and empowers the General Staff of the armed forces to make plans on logistical supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, while the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is to be authorized to determine the entire DISTRO procedure.

Accordingly, the bill shall amend the laws of Ukraine "On defence of Ukraine" and "On national security of Ukraine".
