First vice-speaker meets reps of EYC

The First Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Iryna Herashchenko met with representatives of the European Youth Community

On May 27, the first vice-speaker I. Herashchenko met representatives of the Public Organization "European Youth Community" (EYC).

The participants of the meeting talked over the legislative activity of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, in particular the prospects for introducing quotas in electoral rolls, and more active involvement of young people in public and political life.

In addition, the participants discussed issues related to the draft of the new electoral code of Ukraine.

In the course of the discussion, Iryna Herashchenko also spoke about her own life experience and gave the youth a tactful word of advice on self-realization and profession they choose in the future.
