Ad hoc inquiry comm on activist attackers hears Kherson mayor

On November 20, there was the third sitting of the body gathered to hear the mayor of Kherson Volodymyr Mykolaienko on the merits.

The mayor told the commissioners the story of mutual relations with the deceased journalist dating back to 2005. He also said that he had been to the SBU investigator today and provided information which K.Handziuk had told him about the attack while at the hospital.

The mayor V. Mykolaienko has also noted that Kateryna expected her being attacked, since her friends and team-mates had been pummelled the day before.

Remainder of the meeting was held behind closed doors.
