First D Head of social policy committee in debate with World Bank mission over pension system reform

The First Deputy Head of the Committee on Social Policy, Employment and Pension Provision Serhii Kaplin discussed provision of the pension system reform with representatives of the World Bank mission to Ukraine

The parties talked over the government’s measures aimed at unshadowing the labor market and setting a regressive scale for unified social tax.

During the meeting, the parties entered into a debate over introduction of a cumulative pension insurance system as well. It was then also agreed to present models of the cumulative system during a committee hearing on "The pension reform results" scheduled for November 21, 2018.
