The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy opened the morning plenary meeting.
The Chair then clued up he had met with the Exarchs of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Ukraine Bishop Ilarion of Edmonton and the Western Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Canada and Archbishop Daniel of Pamphylia and the Western Eparchy of the UOC in the United States of America.
The Parliament’s Chairperson informed that according to the Law of Ukraine "On the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine", members of the Central Election Commission, prior to taking office, are to take an oath before the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The newly elected members of the Central Election Commission did take the oath.
The presiding officer told then that the members of the Cabinet of Ministers, headed by the First Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv, were partaking in the meeting.
The questions hour began.
The Chairman gave the floor to the First Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv, who delivered a report on the state of play in Ukraine’s economy and the implementation of economic reforms.
The ministers answered the questions from the floor.
The hour ended at this point.

A.Parubiy gave the floor to representatives of the parliamentary factions and groups for making their announcements, statements, reports, and proposals.
