--Draft bill No.0186
The parliament has adopted the draft law “On ratification of the Financial Agreement (the Ukrainian Railway Modernization Project (Modernization of the infrastructure of the Public Joint Stock Company "Ukrzaliznytsia") between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank”.
The said agreement was signed on December 19, 2016 in
Brussels. The instrument shall come into force at the date of adoption of the
above law.
The agreement ratification shall enable extending of EUR 150 million for the implementation of the project "Electrification of the Dolynska - Mykolaiv – Kolosivka railroad direction", allowing to significantly increase the direction’s train-handling capacity, providing energy-saving during railway transportation and reducing operational expenditure.
