Chairman of Verkhovna Rada congratulates Lvivites on Lviv City Day

Dear Fellow People of Lviv!

I am happy to congratulate the good City of Lviv and its inhabitants on this great holiday - Day of Lviv.

I am pleased and proud of having grown up here in the ancient Ukrainian city of Lion. The noble spirit of our antiquity, heroism, patriotism will always live in the heart of every Lviv citizen.

It is precisely Lviv that has always been at the forefront of the struggle for Will, for the Nation, for Ukraine. So is now and so will always be.

I do wish health, good luck, and well-being to every Lviver, and to our beautiful city I do heavenly patronage of his holy protector Saint Yurii the Dragon Fighter!
