Iryna Herashchenko to visit Strasbourg for PACE session

From June 26 till 30 the Parliamentary permanent delegation of Ukraine to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe shall be visiting Strasbourg to participate in the PACE session. High on the session’s agenda are to scrutinize a report on corruption counteraction in the EU countries, Europe's common fight against terrorism (successes and failures), a comprehensive humanitarian and political response to the migration and refugee crisis in Europe, human rights implications of the European response to transit migration across the Mediterranean, putting an end to sexual violence and harassment of women in public space, the situation in Belarus, parliamentary scrutiny over corruption, parliamentary co-operation in neutralizing of political influence over the investigative media.
