Iryna Herashchenko, the First Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has headed the meeting of the Minsk platform attended by Per Fischer, the TCG Working Group Coordinator (Economic WG).
Systematic violations of ‘regime of silence’ along with land-mine warfare in Donbas have caused a critical situation at the industrial and coal-mining enterprises. The TCG Working Group Coordinator (Economic WG) noted the tensest atmosphere was still on at the Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Plant and Donetsk filtration station, and the local mines near over impounded. Per Fischer informed that the Economic WG was eagerly seeking consensus about a special monitoring for the certain objects in the occupied territories capable of causing serious environmental harm.
