Iryna Herashchenko, the First Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Johannes Hahn, EU Commissioner for Regional Policy along with Mariia Ionova, the Deputy Head of the Committee on European Integration and with the EU delegation are paying a working visit to eastern Ukraine on June 2.
They plan to visit the Mariupol’s urban polyclinic and the public dormitory for internally displaced persons recently restored through the EU’s funds.
The politicians will also discuss restoration and development of Donbas under the EU’s program presentation taking place in the Mariupol State University.
The visit is also meant to open a home rule development local centre in Dnipro. Some ministerial representatives will also team up the visit.
