…recommends the Parliament to take draft bills on financial statements audit and auditing on the first reading under No.6016, 2534 (at choice). They both are aimed at harmonizing our laws with the EU’s.
The first one defines legal groundwork for the statements audit, auditing process in Ukraine, and arrangements of mutual relations thereat. The draft bill also envisages room for Ukrainian auditors to gain access to European markets through acknowledgement of the systems' equivalence, a wider market for auditing activities, upraising of occupational prestige and confidence, weeding out corrupt practices etc.
After zooming into the two bills, the committee named draft bill No.6016 to be adoptable on the first reading.
Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement
…recommends the Verkhovna Rada to accept on the first reading a bill forcing charges of tobacco products fraud and the smuggling. Bill No.4327 imputing criminal liability for smuggling excisables in bulk, was approved by the committeemen.
Committee on Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship
Bill No.3557 is meant to intensify performance of the Parliament by means of optimizing changes in its rules.
Bill No.4357 produces the same against the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Committee on Social Policy, Employment and Pension Provision
…has been working hard on making a tool for smooth pay-outs of social benefits to internally displaced persons (IDPs). The first ‘tool’ joint working group’s meeting was attended by experts from the related public bodies, the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the Ministry of Temporarily Occupied Territories and IDPs, the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the Ukrainian State Enterprise of Posts ‘Ukrposhta’, the Public Joint-Stock Company ‘State Savings Bank of Ukraine’.
