Partnership between China, including Tibetan Autonomy and Ukraine in cultural and scientific exchanges was discussed at the meeting. Viktor Yelenskyi declared the need for closer cooperation not only in economy and trade, but also in culture.
Deputy Head of the Committee informed Chinese colleagues about development of cultural and educational characteristics of national minorities in Ukraine.
The distinguished guests reported about the experience of China in the field of legal regulation of minority rights and accented the decisive importance of Tibetan Buddhism in shaping the spiritual and mental space of the autonomy.
The parties hoped that the meeting would be an important impetus for scientific exchanges and further development of domestic oriental studies. It was proposed, within the framework of regional cooperation, to establish the festival days of Ukrainian culture in Tibet and Tibetan culture days in Ukraine.
