Andrii Parubii, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine opens the session and informs the audience that the Senate of Canada has finalized ratification of the free trade zone treaty with Ukraine, naming it to be of vital importance.

The Chairman also noted that ‘obtaining of the visa free regime with the European Union as well as the Free Trade Zone Treaty with Canada confirm that Ukraine, notwithstanding the war and the aggression, does follow the path of free and democratic countries.’

The meeting is attended by a group of members of the Cabinet of Ministers,  headed by Volodymyr Hroisman, the Prime Minister of Ukraine.

 The ‘hour of questions to government’ is under way.

Volodymyr Hroisman, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, presents a draft law of the pension system reform, which is subject to further discussions in the National Reform Council and the Parliament. The law provides for a substantial increase in pensions. ‘It is high time to change the country,’ said he.

The ‘hour of questions’ ends.

‘Now it is time for MPs’ enquiries,’ announces Iryna Herashchenko, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada.
