A.Paburii, the Chairperson, opened the meeting, having informed the audience about his working visit to Warsaw on 17th May. Ukrainian delegation took part in the Summit of the parliamentary heads of Central and Eastern Europe, having numerous meetings with high level officials of Poland, Moldova, Georgia, Hungary, Montenegro. The parties agreed on a closer cooperation with Intermarium.
A.Parubii reminded those present of the today’s day of the Сrimean Tatars’ deportation. He expressed confidence that the Crimea be emptied of the occupants, and proposed the MPs with the whole Ukraine to observe a minute of silence at noon to honour the victims of the 1944 deportation.
The chairperson also saluted all Ukrainians with the Day of Vyshivanka.

The documents adopted today:
On housing rights protection for orphans and children deprived of parental care
The first reading of bill No.5045, amending the upholding rules has been adopted. It now broadly runs that orphans and children deprived of parental care who have attained the age of 16, are to be registered by appropriate self-government bodies as citizens in need of housing improvement. Those to be then provided with housing out of turn.
On insurance features of state-supported agricultural produce
The newly adopted bill No.4570 harmonizes the law on insurance features of state-supported agricultural produce with the fisheries law, allowing now fishery manufacturers to use insurance protection of their property interests.
On state control of foodstuff, forage, animal by-products, health and animal welfare
The bill No.0906 stipulates the legal and organizational grounds of state control over the market of foodstuff, forage, animal by-products, health and animal welfare, including animal by-products export-import transactions.
The bill also regulates powers of the central executive body, which shapes and implements the state policies in the realm.
About the use of lands for defence
The first reading of the bill adopted under No. 4638 adds to the related law of Ukraine a new part, which henceforth allows to use lands of defence for placing of telecommunication, navigation and surveillance facilities if agreed by local executives and the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
On lease of water bodies with land allotments
The adopted first reading of the bill No.3157 refines the Land and Water Codes in respect of leasing water bodies with land allotments.
On adopted amendments to the Criminal Code
Bill No.5534 rectifies the rules for sentencing regime and inclusion of pre-trial detention term.
