The MPs proceeded to the discussion phase under abridged procedure.
The adopted Resolution No.6126 provides for conducting widened parliamentary hearings on implementation of anti-corruption policies on May 24, 2017 at the Verkhovna Rada’s premises. High-level representatives from anti-graft and corruption competent authorities, central and local executive bodies, local authorities, international organizations are supposed to partake in the hearings.The newly adopted bill No. 2987 bans production and propagation of Saint George (Guards) ribbons, imposing administrative responsibility for the offenders.
Bill No.5574 is in part adopted with amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Pre-Trial Detention”, ensuring unhindered access to persons in custody by representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross. The access is to be provided with no limits in quantity and duration pursuant to Geneva Convention of 1949 clauses.
