Committee on Social Policy, Employment and Pension Provision recommends Ukrainian Parliament adopt as a basis bill able to change current order of covering costs for payment and provision of pensions to employees engaged in construction of subway and sewage collectors

The Committee members considered the bill No. 5264 On Amendments To Law Of Ukraine On State Mandatory State Pension Insurance.

The bill offers to supplement the list of the said persons to be provided with pensions at the expense of state budget funds before they reach the retirement age.

The members of the Ukrainian Parliament consider that the implementation of the said amendments and provision of pensions from the state budget will strengthen the subway construction sector and lift respective financial burden from it.

The members of the Committee supported the bill noting that the conditions of paying pensions to persons engaged in construction of subway tunnels and stations as well as sewage collectors have to be equalized with the ones of paying pensions to miners.
